The annual fireworks continue to be a big attraction in the region, attracting over 5000 people in 2007. The fireworks are held on the first Sunday in August. The village is also getting national renown for its annual
'Book Fayre' which takes place each year in mid August. In 2007, an estimated 20000 visitors came over the five days, enjoying the 100+stalls, street entertainment and evening
lectures. The chateau is a wonderful setting for the traditional 'story tellers' who come from all over France to 'tell a tale'.
