The Hotel Colonnes is on the quayside of the capital of Ile de Re, Saint Martin de Re. Most of the bedrooms we use are overlooking the harbour. The wide choice of menus, quality facilities and friendly atmosphere in the family run hotel proved very popular with our guests in 2006 and 2007.

All rooms have either bath or shower plus WC.

The hotel, with its friendly bar and terraces overlooking the port, is a meeting place for many of the local sailing fraternity, fishermen and local business people.

The Hotel Colonnes is near the shops and the historic centre of Saint Martin de Re. The attractive guest rooms are all equipped with bath/shower, toilet, direct dial phone and TV. The holiday is on a half board basis with breakfast and dinner at the hotel and lunch elsewhere at your own expense.

Breakfast is usually available from 7.30 for early risers with dinner at about 8 pm.  For dinner you are offered a wide choice of starters, main courses and desserts plus coffee and local Ile de Re wines.  The local white, rose and red wines are little known outside the island, but are excellent nevertheless. There is usually a "catch of the day" and often special dishes are offered by the chefs.  A fixed menu dinner is provided one evening during your stay when the staff at the hotel have a deserved night off. In previous years, Madame(the hotel owner), provided a delicious fish soup, local fish and a dessert she cooked herself at home. Madame and her two daughters are perfect hosts.
